Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC) is a high-performance, inorganic polymer coagulant widely used in the treatment of water and wastewater. It is produced through the reaction of aluminium hydroxide with hydrochloric acid, resulting in a product with varying basicity and aluminium content. PAC is recognized as a superior alternative to traditional coagulants like Alum (Aluminium Sulfate) due to its higher charge density and larger molecular weight, which allow for more efficient coagulation over a broader pH range.
